# Jam Ready Now

## Positioning

Jam is Cithorum's lead product and investable core: a software data plane that compresses enterprise data on existing CPU + storage infrastructure. It is not a GPU story and not a future cloud abstraction. It is the codec Cithorum licenses directly, deploys as an engine inside customer and partner environments, and uses inside Cithorum Cloud.

## Current proof

- **Up to 8x proven live compression** on the April 2026 JAM+ZSTD workload: 135 GB to 17.2 GB, or 7.85x.
- **Up to 100x backup-tier compression** on a 123 GB backup-class workload reduced to ~1.18 GB.
- **Drive-speed encode/decode**: Jam is storage-bound and designed to track the installed drive ceiling rather than a fixed software throughput number.
- **More effective hardware utilization**: fewer bytes extend existing CPU and storage before expansion capex.
- **$5/TB-month managed-storage benchmark** for qualified public scenarios; **up to ~80% below AWS S3 Standard list storage pricing** on qualified storage scenarios.
- **~45% lower facility energy** in the 1 PB pod reference versus conventional storage.
- **M2M TechConnect live customer** at $7k/month MRR, rendered on the site as ~₹70 L ARR.
- **Partner/prime route**: Jam can be embedded as the compression engine for ITB primes, OEM storage companies, and customer-owned infrastructure.

## Why it matters

Enterprise storage bills move before compute bills. Jam changes the storage equation without asking buyers to rewrite their applications, buy GPUs, or leave their controlled environment.

The buyer line is simple: same workload, fewer bytes, verified restore, lower bill.

## Commercial routes

- Standalone Jam licence for operators, OEMs, and data processors.
- Jam engine deployment inside an existing customer or prime-contractor environment.
- Jam-compressed managed storage inside Cithorum Cloud.
- Benchmark pilot first; production terms after customer-data proof.
- Appliance or partner route for air-gapped, sovereign, or 45Drives-style deployments.

## Investor-safe language

Use **up to 8x proven live compression** for the April 2026 JAM+ZSTD benchmark and **up to 100x backup-tier compression** for the backup-footprint case. Do not present 100x as a universal production ratio. Do not use retired claims such as 48,900x GPU-cost-effectiveness or 140x RAM extension.
