Dear Sir/Madam,

We hereby place on record that:

1. Cithorum [INDIA LEGAL SUFFIX] is registered with the Government of India under the Udyam Registration scheme as a [Micro / Small] Enterprise. The Udyam Registration Number is [UDYAM REG NUMBER, e.g., UDYAM-XX-00-0000000], registered on [REGISTRATION DATE]. A copy of the Udyam Registration Certificate is enclosed as **Enclosure 1** to this letter.

2. By virtue of such registration, Cithorum [INDIA LEGAL SUFFIX] is eligible for the benefits available to Micro and Small Enterprises under:

    (a) the **Public Procurement Policy for Micro and Small Enterprises (Order, 2012)**, as amended from time to time, issued by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India; and

    (b) the corresponding implementing instructions of [Issuing Authority] (where applicable);

   including (without limitation):

    - **Exemption from payment of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD)**;
    - **Exemption from payment of the tender document fee** (where applicable);
    - **Procurement preference of up to 25%** on the quantity / value of the tendered scope, subject to the price-matching clause where applicable;
    - **Relaxation of prior turnover and prior experience eligibility criteria**, in accordance with the General Financial Rules and the prevailing instructions of the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of MSME.

3. We confirm that:

    (a) the Udyam Registration is current and in good standing as on the date of bid submission;
    (b) Cithorum [INDIA LEGAL SUFFIX] has not been blacklisted or debarred by any Government Department, Agency, or Public Sector Undertaking in India;
    (c) the goods or services proposed in our bid fall within the scope of activities for which Cithorum [INDIA LEGAL SUFFIX] is registered under Udyam.

4. Accordingly, we request the Issuing Authority to:

    (a) accept our bid without insistence on EMD in the form of bank guarantee or electronic credit;
    (b) waive the tender document fee where applicable;
    (c) extend the procurement preference and eligibility relaxations as prescribed under the Public Procurement Policy for MSEs.

5. We undertake that:

    (a) if at any time during the validity of our bid or during the term of any resulting contract the Udyam Registration ceases to be current or is cancelled, we shall promptly inform the Issuing Authority in writing;
    (b) any false claim under this letter shall be grounds for immediate disqualification of our bid, recovery of any benefit availed, and such other action as the Issuing Authority and the Ministry of MSME may deem fit.

- For tenders that mandate EMD via bank guarantee with no exemption clause, this letter is rejected. Read the tender for the exemption flag (usually under General Terms or Eligibility Criteria) before relying on it.
